EXANOREXIC

While my weight is in a healthy range for my height and not the 80lbs I was in highschool, I dont think I quite qualify as an exanorexic. I dont really know if someone who has struggled with an eating disorder ever really gets over it. This is my journey to continue to be LESS of an anorexic everyday.

She shows me NO MERCY!

Rossi has become quite the trainer....always pushing me to run, when I would much rather WALK on our morning strolls!

We all need an extra push sometimes! Thank you Rossi!

These are a few of my favorite tools!

Today after I set up for my 5:30 client I took a look back and just smiled!
These are just a few of the FAVORITE "tools" I like to incorporate into my training sessions...medicine ball, TRX (of course!), kettlebells, and of course a mat/towel cause it gets dirty and sweaty out there!
Sweaty hugs to all of you :)

I really do love my job, my clients and fitness in general! Thanks to all who have referred me to their friends! Keep em' coming!

Sweaty hugs to all of you!!!

Who needs a car??

This morning I was supposed to have a client in my mom's neighborhood, but my client woke up sick so she cancelled about 5 minutes before our session. I was all ready all set up and in workout clothes and I didnt want to waste my energy so I ran home instead of drive home!
What is usually a 7 minute drive took me about 18 minutes to run home. Its only like 2 and a half miles, so I was a bit disapointed in my time, but I hadnt had breakfast so I cut myself a little slack.
Today made me realize how much I wish I lived somewhere that was more walk/run friendly.
Maaaaaybe someday?! :)

I love my GYMBOSS Timer!

I dont know about you but staying on one piece of cardio equipment for looooong periods of time.
So I have started doing "High Intensity Interval Training" or HIIT training.
Its a type of cardio that you have short very high intensity intervals followed by short rest periods.
It can be a GREAT workout, if you are not staring at your watch every few seconds and writting down how many intervals you have completed...thats where the GYMBOSS TIMER comes in handy! You can clip it to your top/shorts or just close enough that you can hear it beep or vibrate.
A sample HIIT workout would be something like walking for 30 seconds and then sprinting for 30 seconds, then repeating those two intervals 7 more times (making it 8, 9 or 10 times).
Here is me with my pink Gymboss timer after a tough HIIT training workout!

Ok, I am off to bed! Goodnight!

Looks yummy....riiight?!

I jst wanted to share some things of my delicious (said with sarcasm) menu....
Can you guess what this is??

Egg Whites & Sirloin....yuck-o! Your prize for guessing correctly?! You dont have to eat it! YAy for you! haha!

Another menu item, that I have to admit has become a fave of mine, is just a beef salad. Mixed greens, lean ground beef and balsalmic vinegar to dress it. Baslamic takes a little while to get used to, but now I honestly do love it.

Ok, I'm off to prepare more meals and workout!

What's been going on!?

Hi all! Sorry I have been MIA for awhile! I have been busy and when I think to blog I am usually too tired to go through with it.
As far as an update goes, I do not have another show in mind. I was thinking about doing one in August, but I have still yet to get on my diet, so I am thinking the August one will not work out.
I am still hitting the gym hard though!
I am finding it difficult to get all my training (on myself) done some days because of training other people.
Facebook has been awesome in regards to getting my personal training business going.
I have also been hired on at the gym I train work out in.
July was busy, but August is looking suuuuper busy, I am not even sure I can take on anymore clients.
I'll leave you with a pic of me and one of my awesome clients!

Never too young to start!

Every moning I try to do some sort of cardio/workout and I usually try and get Rossi to join in doing squats or pushups just for fun. Well I have never encouraged her to touch the TRX, in fact, I try to keep her away from it. Today however my dad and I were playing with his new TRX, and Rossi ran over and grabbed it  and started getting in actual exercise positions while we taking a break!
I'm so proud!!
