EXANOREXIC

While my weight is in a healthy range for my height and not the 80lbs I was in highschool, I dont think I quite qualify as an exanorexic. I dont really know if someone who has struggled with an eating disorder ever really gets over it. This is my journey to continue to be LESS of an anorexic everyday.

baby brownie eats a turtle brownie sundae....and much much more

Ahhhh.... what has gotten into me?
I am so disapointed in myself at the moment. I cant seem to control myself around food lately. I finally have a competition date in mind, and can somehow still justify eating almost everything I am not suppose to?!
Whats up with that?
My trainer has suggested weighing myself daily to see how my eating is affecting my body. I think this will help, but it also scares me a lil. When I was "anorexic" in highschool I would weigh myself 10 sometimes more times a day, I am nervous about reverting back to old habits. On the flip side I dont see how I can go back when I cant stop myself from eating all the junk I have been putting in my body.
Its so easy to revert back to junk food eating and then get so down that I want to quit. This happens almost weekly. WEEKLY. I am embarrassed to admit it. People see me in the gym and comment on how "dedicated" I am, if only they saw me hide from Rossi to sneak eat some Oreos or soda. After a day (or two) of eating so poorly I finally wake up and realize how awful I feel, inside and out, and decide to eat well again. That goes well for a few days until my next scheduled cheat meal, and then down the junk food road I go again. Its like I try to cram in as much junk food because I know that starting tomorrow I HAVE to eat better.
I know I am making progress, I know I can do better, I KNOW I can beat the food......but I havent yet.
I felt like I needed to post this poster again

  2. Just stick to it - I believe most people have that problem with junk food, how can you not? But be proud that you start anew each day trying to achieve better, now that will make the difference.
