I doubt my devoted blog readers have been too worried about me...seeing as you lovely ladies are my friends and chat with daily, but on the slight chance that anyone reads this who I dont chat with often I will update you!
@ the gyM:
Yes, I am still working out! I am slacking on getting a pic up here seeing as I have been off my diet and thus disapointed on how my weekly pics look. Maybe after I post I will be brave enough to post...who knows it could be more motivation for me to get on my diet seeing the pic up here!
@ the computer desk:
This is prob the main reason I havent been blogging, I have been studying on the computer for my personal trainers certification. While I used to use the time that Rossi was sleeping for blogging/reading others blogs, I now must be studying or working out. So far so good on the studying side of things! I hope to have it complete by May. FiNGErS CrOsSed!!

@ the park:
It's GORGEOUS outside! This time of year makes me wonder how ANYONE could live up North. I am truly a shorts and flip flop FLorida girl! Rossi loves being outside, so we try to make it to a park everyday at least for a lil while to soak in some sun and run around.
@ Target:
If you know me...you know I am there often!
@ the pantry in my kitchen:
I hate to admit how much "OFF" my diet I have been. I have been doing some serious thinking/debating/changing lately which all make me want to eat! Yes, I admit...I am an emotional eater.
What has me all emotional>?
Well.... I have been debating on whether or not I should be doing my competition or not. I have been debating the financial cost/time away from family/ and balance of everything in between.
I no doubt want to finish/meet my goal of doing the competition, but feel like I constantly have to justify it to others and myself. It's what I have been working towards, Jesse and my parents are supportive, and the NPC is a GOOD organization. However I will be on a stage in a tiny bikini for all to see. Is it the most "Christian" thing to do? I'm not sure.......
I feel like I am doing it for the right reasons, but I am not sure that is enough.
On the other hand I feel like I am jst trying to find a reason to "quit" the competition because I feel like I wont do well. I feel like this is my shot to give it a try, if I dont I think I will always wonder "WHAT IF?!"
I am also trying to figure out if I want to compete in the bikini division OR if I want to train for the figure division. I chose the bikini division because I felt like that level of physical fitness would be more attainable for me to achieve this yr, however I also feel like figure is more the body shape I would like to be in.
This is an amazing figure competitor-Nicole Wilkins-Lee:
This is an amazing bikini competitor-Lindsay Messina:
Dont get me wrong I would love to look like EITHER of these ladies! They both have amazing bodies! I jst have been thinking I would like to train more to look like the figure competitor than the bikini models physique. I dont necessarily feel like I am a "bikini girl" if that makes any sense?!
So have I decided?? No...not really! As of right now I am training to still compete in May, however I am also jst going to see how I feel a little closer to the show and make a decision then. You'll jst have to wait and see!

I prefer a softer body on me, I guess like the bikini girl. I don't really like really muscular girls and wouldn't want to be one personally... BUT I think if YOU want to and think you can do it, go for it. you dont have to stay at that level, but you can prove to yourself that you can get there!
ReplyDeleteI hope you still compete, I know you've worked really hard and you should reward yourself by competing since that's what you originally set out to do. you may just surprise yourself! You look great and I am proud of ya!
